R. K. Industries operates in the businesses of steel fabrication, carpentry and mechanical & electrical accessories since early 1970s. RK Industries is the only company in Kerala to with in-house design and manufacture facilities of airport ground handling equipments.
The proprietor of RK Industries Mr. K. P. Ahmed Kunhi has over 30 years experience in this business. He is supported by a team of engineers, administrative staff, foremen (mechanical, civil, electrical and carpentry) and about 50 workmen.
The factory is located at Development Plot, Industrial Estate, Kalamassery, Cochin. It is equipped with welding machine, gas cutting equipments, lathes, pipe bending equipments, jim screws, carpentry tools & equipments etc.

| 1. Fabricated Steel Products: |

RK Industries undertakes construction of steel trusses, boiler units and accessories, gantry cranes, steel chimneys, elevator/escalator frames, grills, gates, fire escape staircases, FRP/Polycarbonate sheet mountings, concrete shuttering materials, steel windows, doors and joinery.
The in-house design section is capable of mechanical, thermal, structural and electrical designs of these products. Separate teams are deployed for on site erection of fabricated products wherever required.
RK Industries executes orders for Air India, Noble Bauer Lifts, Tata Motors, Focuz Automobiles, Modern Food Industries among a score of other clentele. |

2. Airpot Ground Handiling Equipments: |
RK Industries executes design and fabrication of Ground Handling Equipments for Ground Support Divisions at airports.
Products include towable mechanical front/rear passenger stairs, towable baggage carts, towable hydraulic baggage conveyors, luggage trolleys, towable nitrogen/oxygen carts and towable aircraft maintenance stands. Low cost solutions with complete simplicity of operations are provided for aircraft equipments.
Airport equipments designed and fabricated by RK Industries have been exported to M/s Air Corridor Handling Services, Mozambique, Africa. Continuous operations are also carried out for Air India Ground Handling Division, Cochin International Airport Limited. |

RK Industries has remarkable expertise in carpentry of wooden doors, windows, joinery and furniture products. These products are manufactured against order from individual/corporate clients. |
